Welcome to Ocean State Kennels the proud home of Iron Cross' Buster Douglas. Where we specialize in the XL American Pit Bull Terrier for the Family. Our dogs are never exposed to your typical Kennel setting , they are loved and treated as a part of our family. They are raised in a Farm setting with exposure to plenty of diffrent animals and children.We set the foundation for the dog you have been looking for. We pride ourselves in breeding what we call some of the best in the breed today. Just because you may see bigger dogs elsewhere it doesn't always mean better. If you are willing to put in the work you will get the results that you want. My daughter is in the 4-H Waggin' Tails dog club and she and Moose took the AKC's Canine Good Citizenship test and passed.Not to bad for a nine year old kid and a four month old pup. We have some very intelligent dogs that have passed down very intelligent offspring and we are doing are best in making people have a positive opinion of the APBT. From time to time we will post an APBT that is either being Fostered or in an Animal Shelter. It is our duty to save every one of these dogs that we can. We are proud to share with everyone that "Victor" out of Buster and Roxy has taken 2nd place in the conformation show at the Arizona Bully Bash!! We are so proud of Brittany for her wonderful accomplishment with him. He is an amazing dog with a spectacular owner, we couldn't be happier that he went to such a great home. Congratulations Victor and Brittany.
