New measurements of Keet and Ky. And it has been confirmed by a reliable source that Takara is pregnant again and due in February 2010. Therefore the pregnancy page has been updated and the poll was closed. Results will be published soon.

A blog has been added to News page, it's easier for me to update it. All old articles are up there as well as a post about Athena's death. Her page has been changed to the deceased orca layout and some other pages have been updated.

All pages are up again. On each profile "Tank Mates" are linked now.
A site index has been added and is linked on every page on Ocean's Cutest. Also new pictures and of
Stella, Lovey, Lara, Earth and Oscar have been added. Measurements of Lara, Ran2 and Earth have
been updated.
Also there is a new page called Pregnancies. You will find it under "Statistics". The pregnancy poll has been moved to that page.

There is a rumour floating around that Athena died during the off season. As long as this hasn't been confirmed
by a reliable source, nothing will be changed on Ocean's Cutest. I hope this remains a rumour and that she is fine.

All orca pages and some of the parks' ones will be taken down for a while though. Many links will
be changed to make editing easier. Sorry for the incovenience but I hope everything will be up again this weekend.

All living orca profiles have been updated. Everyone except for Shouka got a new profile picture.
Tank mates are linked now, so it's easier for you to switch between profiles. The misc. page has been
changed and new pages have been added there, including Credits, Wanted, Trip reports, Videos and
many more stuff. The pregnancy poll is still up on Misc. page. A new pregnancy page will be
uploaded soon.

After lots of work, a new page is up now: Statistics, which can be found on "Orcinus Orca" page. There you will find the page for Orca Births, Name meanings, Captures and a new project on Ocean's Cutest: Breeding orcas. All males and females that sired/conceived calves are listed with age and many more information. Please enjoy!

A new page has been added "Released & Escaped" and can be found on Orcas in Captivity page.
Released orca pages have been added now, means every orca profile is up now. There are still some mistakes here and there. Those will be corrected within the next weeks. Many other features will be added soon, the Miscellaneous page will be totally changed. So check back for changes.
A new news article is up as well.

Other Parks North America page has been updated. All orcas that were kept in North America have been added.
Due to Takara's move and changing in SWF groups, orca pages of SWF and SWT have been updated.
The grouping page have been taken down though, they will be updated and I hope to get them up again when SWT opens for the 2009 season.

As you might have noticed some orca pages got links to other pages on some parts such as Tank mates, Offspring and Relatives. Those will be added on every orca page soon. It's a lot of work,
so please be patient.

Takara moved to SeaWorld San Antonio on February 5. Her page and all related profiles will be updated the following days.

Asian orcas have been added, all links on Other Parks Asia should work now.
SWC orcas are also back online.

As you may noticed the orcas listed under Tank Mates are sometimes link to their profile. It's lots of work to update the profiles that are already online, that will be done when every orca page is done. So I asked for your patience. There are many updates planned for this year, including new pages and maybe even video for several orcas but that does take its time. =)

First updates in 2009, unfortunately it starts with some sad news....Sharkan passed away. See News article.
Other Parks South America & Australia have been completed. MLF's profiles have been updated due to Sharkan's passing. Some updates here and there have been done. The numbers of orcas in captivity has changed. 211 have been held in captivity, not 204 like I put it before, some more profiles have to be done.
