"Phantoms in the
Forest" will be October
27th, 2007 at 7pm. This event is co-sponsored by the Ocali Storytelling
Guild and the Friends of Silver River State Park. Join us for spooky
tales under the stars in the Cracker Village at Silver River State Park.
This is a family-friendly event. Stories get progressively spookier as
the night goes on. There will be yummy refreshments available for
purchase. Be sure to bring a folding chair or blanket as provided
seating is limited. This year the state park system is providing a sign
language interpreter for the deaf and hard of hearing. In addition,
there will be special parking for those with mobility issues. Admission
to the park is free and admission to the event is through a donation.
Proceeds go to the Friends of Silver River State Park.
