ABOUT ME
My name is Lin and I live in the Cotswolds with my husband , three children are now married with their own babies, one is still footloose and fancyfree.
I started reborning just over 4 years ago, it was after buying my first reborn that I discovered the joy of creating these babies.
Weeks of work go into these babies and in the case of one doll from Germany, months, she/he is still not finished. I am not sure it ever will be.
My babies start out as a blank canvas, waiting to be brought to life. They have to be bathed, dried, painted, eyes inserted and the hair hand rooted.
Jointed, soft bodies are made. They then have to be filled, pieced together and finished off.
I never know whether it is a boy or girl until the baby is ready for dressing. (Unless it is a custom order)
My love of babies and children give me the incentive to carry on reborning, its the thrill of seeing them finished and ready for adoption. Some I hate to part with once finished.
