OakMoon Creamery cheese is available for purchase daily from 8 am until 5 pm at the creamery. Directions from I-40: Take the Hwy 226 N exit at Marion, NC. Follow 226 N into Bakersville. From Asheville, take I-26 north toward Tennessee. Take exit 9 onto Hwy 19. Go through Burnsville to Spruce Pine, taking a left at the first red light, onto Hwy 226 north to Bakersville.
Once in Bakersville, come to the center of town. We have two traffic lights; make a left at the second light, which is a blinking red light. To the immediate left is the Johnson Building, a red brick building, and the creamery is located in the ground floor. You may either park at street level and walk down the stairs to the creamery, or take the driveway on the left side of the building and drive around. OakMoon Farm is currently not open to visitors, however, open house days are being planned for 2008. Please check back for details.
