Welcome to Seventh Heaven, New Zealand’s Chinchilla Boarding service.  This offers Professional Lodging for all Chinchillas to People that are either going away for a Holiday, if you are moving house or getting renovations done and just need somewhere for the Chinchilla/s to stay. 

It also offers people a chance to have a break if their lives are too hectic, there maybe a baby expected, family incidents, or if any incident happens where the Chinchilla needs special care or/and attention.  It gives people another option in this way so they do not have to give up their Chinchilla\s.

Please read below for details about what I provide and do, and what I ask, and also photos.  All Enquiries are welcome and Visits are also welcome.

♥  I supply the Cages, some Toys & Chews, Hay Racks, Dusting Containers, lovely colourful Hammocks (Water Bottle on Request, Heating or other special needs are available if needed at no charge).  Chinchillas MUST have their own food, dust and litter bedding.

♥  Cages are cleaned, Fresh Water, Food, and all grooming needs are given and done everyday.

♥  Daily free exercise and playtimes are essential for Chinchillas to help keep them happy, so once a day they will be let out of the Cage for free Exercise and Play in a safe secure environment.  Special one on one time with each Chinchilla will also be provided everyday.

♥  I accept Babies, Young, Adults, Elderly and Chronic, Behavioural Problems, however for Chinchillas that are not    well or are Pregnant, nursing, health and emotional problems, prior arrangements are essential and each case must be assessed on its own merits. For Extreme cases my veterinarian opinion may be sought.  Special accommodation will be supplied if it is needed i.e. special cages for mothers and babies, sick, recovering etc. 

I do however highly recommend that where possible, if your Chinchilla is unwell or expecting, to wait until it is over before bring them here.  Though if some reason you cannot they are still most welcome to stay here.

♥  Any medical treatment advised by your veterinarian can be continued while boarding here.

♥  There are other Chinchillas in this house, whether it be the Rescues or other peoples Chinchillas, just as Dog and Cat Kennels require, before bringing your Chinchilla it must see a Veterinarian before arriving.  This is to prevent the spread of Infections and other Diseases.  I will require Certificated evidence that must be produced at check-in time.

♥  Security is wonderful here, All Chinchillas are housed inside my home which has a 24/7 monitored alarm.
 

♥  It is very important Chinchillas have specific instructions come with them.  The Chinchillas own Toys and sleeping box it is fimiliar with are recommend to come along with it.

♥  I do only have limited boarding space for up too 10 Chinchillas, so please where possible book early.  Prices are very reasonable and cheap from $27 a week, it is also non-profitable, 100% Volunteer as all proceeds from Seventh Heaven go straight to the NZ Chinchilla Rescue.
