National Front

The National Front was founded in 1996 by Anton Foljambe. Made up of mainly racist drug users and boneheads in jail, Anton got fed up with them and left and founded his own " National Democrats" which are still around today.

The National Front in 2002 got its first piece of press, when members of the group were caught stealing explosives, the then leader Brent "Snake" Gebbie said the police were harrassing a political party of NZ. Over the 2002 - 04 period there was a change in leadership due to ideals in the " party". The man who took over was Mr Kyle Chapman, aka NZTrooper online, and Todd Sweeney when talking to the press. Another skinhead who had been involved in illegal racial crimes namely arson attacks on Maraes and a school.

In late 2003 the party began to get more press as it said that it was running in the NZ elections and was registering as a political party. Claiming to have 500 members, and support from various "businesses" the National Front seeks to bring back NZ's European Heritage. In 2004 the National Front have participated in many " protests" the most infamous was their Anti-Immigrant protest on May 8th which was a counter-demo against the " Rally for Racial Harmony" .

They then went on to have an anti-free trade deal with China at the Chinese embassy in Wellington.

Other events they have had are a Protest about the closing of a Factory in Palmerston North and a Protest outside the District Court in Auckland, Led by Auckland Rep Craig Barrett...

The National Front also gained extra press for their political statements and views about immigrants and Jews. One member who was the Wellington representative a Mr Nic Miller aka Wellington White Soldier, admitted online ( www.nzpolitics.com ) to having beat up Somalis.
