46th Precinct Auxiliary

WELCOME TO THE 46th AUXILIARY POLICE INFORMATION

The 46th Precinct Auxiliary Police Program is made up of volunteers who give at least four hours per week of their time to become the eyes and ears of the Police Department in their communities. Volunteers must take 15 classes, which last 3 hours a class; upon successful completion of the training course, they become Auxiliary Police Officers and are issued uniform, shield, and ID card by the Police Department.

Auxiliary Police Officers provide a measure of police presence at block parties and school and church assemblies, and also patrol on foot, bicycles, and in specially marked police cars. The 46th Precinct Auxiliary Police presently has  34  members, including  5  females. Their coördinator is P.O. Francis Badillo. For more information, please contact.
