Exhibit Closure: Chinese Sturgeon Aquarium is closed indefinitely until further notice.

Ocean Park is operated into Lowland and Highland sections with two entrances. Lowland features Amazing Asian Animals. Highland features Marine Land and Adventure Land Headland Rides. Cable car services are provided to connect the park together. Conservation Effort: Ocean Park continues to increase public awareness in conservation of many species, including bottlenose dolphins and giant pandas. In addition, visitors may also interact with endangered species at the new Amazing Asian Animals.

 Ocean Theatre
Built in 1977, with capacity of up to 3,500 people. Between 1977 and 1997, killer whale Hoi-Wai was the centerpiece of stage. Ocean Theatre, which went through many renovations and upgrades, now presents a brand new daily demonstrations: Sea Dreams, introducing the amazing connections between dolphins, sea lions, and humans.

Artificial insemination (AI) in marine mammals
In May 2001, two female dolphins gave birth to two healthy calves. The births are the world's first successful conception using artifical insemination in bottlenose dolphins.

Importance of AI:
-Introduce new genes to the population
-Reduce the number of animals being captured from the wild
-Reduce the risks of transferring animals between facilities

 Pacific Pier
Pacific Pier is a sea lion habitat renovated in 1999. It currently houses California sea lions, harbor seals and gray seals
acquired from SeaWorld, USA. Feeding times vary. Check the bulletin at Pacific Pier.

 Sea Jelly Spectacular
Opened in 2006. It houses more than 1,000 jellyfish from all over the world with the latest technology of lighting, music and special effects to enhance your experience. Sea Jelly Spectacular is currently the largest jellyfish exhibit in Asia.

Amazing Asian Animals
Amazing Asian Animals, a 25,000-square meter area dedicated to Asian species, is one of two key projects forming part of the park's HK$ 5.55 billion expansion plan. It claims to be the world's only zoological park in which wildlife from the sky, land and sea co-exist. The canopy will feature the same chemical used for the exterior of Beijing's "Water Cube" aquatics center.

The New Ocean Park: Looking into Future
