Crews inspected the chimney and checked for any extension in the roof area. 04-21-11 With the Nice weather and winds it was only a matter of time before Bussiness picked up. At 1332 units were dispatched to assit Beaver Twp in Columbia County with a Brush Fire. E583 and B584 responded and were cancelled on scene by Beaver Twp Fire Command as they had a quick knock down on the Fire. At 1530 Crews were dispatched to the area of Top Street & Derringer Street for a Brush Fire. E583 with C1 arrived to find about 1 acre involved. However while on scene crews noticed additional smoke Columns rising from around the Mountain. Upon Investigating crews had located at least 4 additional fires which would turn out to be 6. A 2nd Alarm was requested at this time. B584 arrived and was put to work along with T587. Additional Crews on Scene: Sheppton-Oneida Brush and Tanker, Hazle Twp Brush, Harwood Brush, Sugarloaf Engine 1 & Tanker, Forestry. Upon clearing the scene another brush fire was reported at 1804 on the Nuremberg Mountain. E583 arrived to find that fire ext. by bystanders already. at 1859 B584 returned back to the Top Street Incident to assit forestry with a garbage pile still burning. Units finally cleared at 1940.

Within 10 mins of the boat entering the water the patient was found on top of the water. She was removed from the water and brought to the shore. The pt was found to be a class 5. 9-10-11 After the Anniversary celebration crews loaded up 2 pick ups and headed off to assit the Espy Fire Department with Manpower. Manpower and pumps were requested to assit them with multiple flood related incidents as a result of the massive flooding that took place along the river. Crews operated until about 2am and had pumped out multiple basements. Must of the homes had water up the the first floor yet. Thoughts and Prayers are with everyone that was affected by the massive flooding that took place. Units O/S: Manpower and portable pumps led by C582.
9-11-11 We were requested by the Bloomsburg Fire Department for assitance related to the massive flooding that took place in the town of Bloomsburg. Crews assisted with multiple pump details, building inspections and fire protection standby due to the hydrant system being off line. The damage caused by the flooding affected over 30% on the town and hundreds of homes which also included the firehouse that had almost 2 feet of water in the engine room. The susquehanna river crested at a record 32.75 Feet in Bloomsburg. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone that was affected. Units O/S: C582, E583, T587, 1 pov with portable pumps
9-14-11 1824 The first alarm was struck for a reported House Fire at 2014 Tomhicken Road in Black Creek Twp. Crews arrived to find a fire that was contained to a microwave unit. While enroute a Sugarloaf portable arrived reporting 1 male heavily entrapped with a faint pulse. E582 arrived to find 1 truck into a tree with severe damage and placed the O-Cutter in service removing the roof and steering wheel. The pt was then rapidly extricated due to no obtainable vital signs and handed off to ems. 11-19-11 1811 Dispatched as part of the First Alarm to 879 Center Street in Sheppton for the Working House Fire. The East Union Twp Fire Marshal who lives next door knocked down most of the fire with a portable extinguisher. E9-10 arrived and placed one 1.75 in service to knock down the rest of the fire and complete extinguishment. All apparatus was cancelled with the exception of L581, which Sheppton Fire Command had contiune in to assit with overhaul. Units O/S: L581, E9-10, T9-30,. Apparatus Cx: E582, T585, T587, Hazle Twp Tower, District 30 Engine and Tanker, West Hazleton Rit.

11-28-11 1610 During the first day of deer season Ladder 581 was dispatched as part of the First Alarm to 60 Green Mt Road at Micheals Arts and Crafts in East Union Twp. for a commercial Structure Fire. District 9 had been dispatched for an AFA along with the Hazle Twp Engine. Upon Engine 9-10 arrival smoke was showing from a Garage door. Chief 9-06 upgraded the assignment to a Commercial assignmnet adding L581, E 30-10 (ringtown valley) along with Hazle twp for the Truck, Rescue and 2nd Engine. Crews had found a working fire in a cardboard compactor. Fire was knocked down and then all the cardboard removed for overhaul. Crews Operated for about 90 mins on scene. Requested to assit Stations 140 and 210. E582 arrived First and found 1 vehicle into a tree with the driver confined, no fire. Spreaders were placed in service and the door was removed quickly. 12-16-11 1307 Dispatched to the area of 413 Weston Road for an MVA with reported Entrapment, it was reported near the Twp Line so Hazle twp was also dispatched. E582 responded within 2 mins and arrived to find a vehicle into a tree with severe damage. Driver self Extricated with the passanger entrapped. Spreaders were placed in service and the door was removed. EMS then assited with extrication. Ems then Requested 2 aircraft, an LZ was est on scene for Life Flight 5 and Medevac 7.
