| NWL News-2006 |
- Febuary 1, 2006- Due to the closing of two airports that LOT served, PAJN (Juneau, Alaska) and MGJ. A total of six flights has been taken off the roster, the flights affected are LO6901 and LO6902 (NWL-PAJN and back) and LO145-LO149 (NWL-MCJ and back, repeat). Kitty Hawk too was affected. It lost two cargo flights betweeen NWL and PAJN. Some good news now, A ATR 72 has just joined LOT's Regional Fleet for the New Warsaw area, this is expected to serve areas where a 737-500 is too fast and big for, but a ATR 42 is too small for. TWA has announced that the L1011 that they are currently bringing out of retirement is currently having troubles, so it might not get to Nowa Warszawa until Early/Mid March. Delta Air Freighter Service has also begun out of NWL back in Early January, so far it is doing very good. Also, since LO6901-02 was cut from the 737-300 Roster, LO6903-04 are now daily flights.

- December 23, 2005-A large newsday, after some time of no updates a large amount has to be reported. Since the last time news was updated, NWL has seen it's only hangar demolished by the Ministry of Homes and Gardening. The reason listed was just pure wrecklessness by the community "cleaning" crews, who had gotten the wrong adress. Also Delta Air Lines has gotten their Cargo Division to operate from NWL. This new L-100-20 Frighter, now is part of the "Great New Warsaw Fleet" of Delta Air Lines, which is a special fleet of "retro" aircraft. Also, Schedualed service from LOT is now in effect between the French Virgin Islands. And a member of the great NWL fleet also has its first schedualed services started between MBI (Mass. Bay international) and TYN (Tyngsburo International). TWA will expand services with a L1011 that is currently being brought out of retirement from the desert. Equipment related delays are starting to see a drop due to the new busses that are serving. Though a shortage is still reported for other equipment that needs to be used. Also, planes for a new NWL Terminal A are completed but being kept quiet, but a search for materials begins now.
- October 25, 2005- The Hurricane has passed and NWL is back up and running! We are also hearing rumors of a LOT flight scedualed to the French Virgin Islands.
- October 24, 2005-Preperations are in the way for Hurricane Wilma, the Airport will be closed after 0900 EST temporarly on October 25, 2005.
- October 15, 2005- Both good news and bad news. Here is the good news. Delta airlines has announced its first two Schedualed Commercial flights from NWL. These include DL1997 and DL 2002. both from MBI, both flown with 727-200s. Also Southwest had announced its first International flights, WN1526 from MBI and WN886 from MBI. They currently cirtified one 737-300 for ETOPS operations for the flight. There are more flights scedualed to the region. Now for the bad news. Delta Air Lines Cargo division has its arrival delayed to NWL due to a problem getting one of the L-100-20 aircraft from the factory, which is currently backed up and is getting back on track. Originally they were due on October 6, but they had their arrival delayed to November 6 and then December 6.
- October 6, 2005-There will be expansion in the future, including a fuel depot, redesigned buildings, a aviation museum, and a bullit Train that will take people to parts of the island that are a certain distance from the airport, as well as surrounding islands.
- August 26, 2005- Delta airlines is starting schedualed charter service with 3 727-200s that were recently brought back into service. Until new airports to do regular schedualed service are found. Also, soon, there might be cargo service from a Lockheed L-100-20.
- July 12 and 13- 3 more arrivals and 3 more departures were scheduled. LOT finally starting scheduled Trans-Atlantic service to a new airport in Manchester, UK with a 767-300. Another LOT 737-300 going to a airport in Indiana as well as a Royal Aviation scheduled charter flight with a 757-200. With frequency of scheduled flights increasing, the GSE shortage is getting solved at the same time, there are more busses operating around the airport, now the focus is at tugs and airstairs, as well as catering vehicles.

There are other vehicles that could be needed, such as Fuel Trucks, Catering trucks, and baggage loaders. President Wojtkowski has recommended that all airlines that can, should bring portable airstairs that can be equipped on the plane, such aircraft that have this option is Boeing's 727 and 737 series the DC-9 series, as well as many regionals, including the ATR 42 and the DC-3 both of which happen to serve NWL, and the IL-86 and L1011 also have them built in. Aircraft that will not be able to use on board airstairs will be able to use the gates, or one the 2 airstairs based in NWL.
