IRON DAVE

Iron Dave / Founder/CEO

David Byron is the founder of NVH Magazine, an online publication that promotes dark fiction, independent film, and small press. He is the author of almost 250 short stories and poems, two short fiction collections, and several non fiction books due out in 2009, one of which includes Film Prodigies & Legends, a collection of interviews with celebrities that features Herschell Gordon Lewis, Simon Bamford, and Ingrid Pitt, among others.

He has interviewed almost 160 people, including fiction legends Ramsey Campbell, Joe R. Lansdale, and Anne Rice, and soon hopes to have his magazine picked up by a publisher for world-wide distribution, so unknown writers, filmmakers, and small press publishers can get the recognition they deserve.

He lives in Vincennes, Indiana with his cat, Toby, who helps him ‘’edit’’ his manuscripts by jumping on the keyboard when he’s not looking.

You may view his magazine here www.freewebs.com/nvhmag1  or contact him directly through his personal email at db5948@gmail.com

His story ‘’Electrocuting The Clowns,’’ was recommended for a Bram Stoker Award in 2008.

Nick Rose  / cover artist, graphic designs

Born from Nightmares, Nick Rose was created in 1957 and been Hell on Earth ever since. From the time he was a youngling he summoned small creatures and produced horrible smells. Leaving destruction in his path, he moved through life terrifying the old and helpless, showing them visions of the hell that awaited them when they didn't support him as an artist.

These days he can be found any and everywhere that darkness lurks, waiting to produce a new masterpiece of Terror to frighten the mild of heart and the burned out hippies of the 70's. You have been warned!!
