NVF Magazine

SUBMISSIONS

By now, at least a majority of my readers have noticed that I have changed the content format of my magazine here http://nvhmag1.webs.com  . I have been a big fan of indie horror films for quite some time, and I feel that although I am only one of many film promotion websites, it never hurts to have one more site out there to help out the indie filmmakers, who I feel are the proverbial backbone of horror cinema right now, and most likely will be for a long time to come.

Therefore, I am going to publish a print version of the NVF Films magazine 3 times a year, beginning on August 3rd, 2009. The dates will be as follows:

August to December

January to May

May to August

I feel that although the on line version of the magazine will be strong enough to stand on it's own given time, alot of readers would still like a print version in hand now and then, and they will be provided at a reasonable price.

Each issue would feature interviews, film reviews, the latest news on current and upcoming horror films, as well as personal posts by readers and featured guests. Film poster art, website links, and columns and essays on the indie film industry are welcome as well.

If you might be interested in submitting something {or do an interview} for the on line version or print version, feel free to drop me a line here db5948@gmail.com  and I will answer your inquiry ASAP.

With your cooperation, I hope to see NVF Magazine eventually become a small but valuable outpost for lovers of indie films everywhere.

Best wishes,

Iron Dave

Beginning in August of 2009, NVH Magazine will be convert back to a different format, showcasing indie filmmakers only. Due to lack of sales and submissions, we will no longer be publishing fiction or poetry here http://nvhmag1.webs.com/

I want to thank all of my past contributors and my readers for hanging in there with me when times were tough, and you are still welcome to contact me anytime to chat.

Any filmmakers, producers, screenwriters, FX artists, actors or actresses who are interested in submitting some new film or personal info drop me a line here db5948@gmail.com  and I will answer your inquiries ASAP.

Best Wishes,

Iron Dave
