About Us

We are a small time breeder in Prince George, Virginia. We live on four acres, giving our dogs lots of space to run and play. Our dogs are never allowed to roam at large, nor are they ever chained up. They either have free roam of our fenced in property, or they are in a kennel. Our dogs are well adjusted and loved pets and working companions. I have worked them in agility, at home, protection sports, obedience, tracking, lots of play to stimulate their minds. I socialize my dogs and pups as often as possible. I love taking them out and around new people and situations. My pups are handled from day one and loved and handled until the time they are sent to their new homes. They are vet checked, and age appropriate on shots, started on their training, socialized to riding in a vehicle, leash, collar trained and started on crate training. I get them used to obsticles at a very young age. Going through tunnels and with age permitting have them going over the aframe adjusted for pups. Lots of toys and different types of toys. I imprint them early to coming when called. Making everything pleasent and motivated. I have been working with dogs for over 30 years. I enjoy helping people with any issues they may have with undesireable behaviors. Our Shepherds are mostly german working lines as well as some show lines.Along with the German Shepherds we also have Dutch Shepherds, and one Belgium Malinois. I have Standard Poodles as well. We mostly enjoy our dogs and love working with them. Our dogs are first our pets and much loved companions.We never have more than one litter of pups at a time. We believe that it is much better to give the one litter all of the time and socializing that we can. We want to make sure our babies are sound, and ready to be the dog you are looking for to add to your family. We temperment test our pups to match them up with what you are looking for. You tell us what you are looking for in a pup and we will show you the pup that would most suit your needs. Be that in dog sports, obedience, or just a wonderful companion. We want you to be happy with your puppy so our puppy will be much loved and wanted.

Our goal is to breed shepherds that would be loving, loyal, smart, quick to learn, and adaptable, stable dogs.

HOW I FEEL ABOUT MY DOGS!!!

ALL OF OUR DOGS ARE PART OF THE FAMILY. WHEN THEY ARE RETIRED THEY STAY WITH US. IF FOR SOME REASON THEY NEED TO BE REHOMED, IT WOULD HAVE TO BE A REASON THAT WOULD BE BETTER FOR THAT DOG.  WHEN I DO BREED, I AM VERY SURE THAT THIS WOULD BE A GOOD BREEDING. I AM SURE THE PUPS WILL BE WHAT ONE IS LOOKING FOR TO BE A PART OF A FAMILY. I LOOK FOR THEM TO GO TO THEIR FOREVER HOMES. SO WITH THAT IN MIND! WHEN I BREED MY DOGS, THEY WILL STILL LIVE WITH US, EVEN AFTER THEY ARE RETIRED FROM BREEDING. HOW COULD I POSSIBLE REHOME A MEMBER OF MY FAMILY TO MAKE ROOM FOR ANOTHER DOG.  HOW COULD I TELL YOU THAT MY PUPS ARE WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR IN A GOOD FAMILY OR PERSONAL COMPANION, UNLESS I FEEL THE SAME WAY ABOUT MY DOGS. IF I COULDN'T BREED ANY OF MY DOGS EVER AGAIN, I WOULD STILL FEEL FORTUNATE TO HAVE THEM IN MY LIFE. A GOOD FRIEND IS HARD TO FIND, BUT I HAVE ALL MY FRIENDS HERE WITH ME. THE FOUR LEGGED ONES ANYWAY.  MY DOGS ARE NOT KENNEL DOGS FOR BREEDING PURPOSES.  MY DOGS ARE FUN LOVING COMPANIONS ALL THE TIME, AND I BREED OCCASONALLY.  I MATCH MY PUPS WITH WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR, AND IF I DON'T HAVE THAT MATCH WITH MY PUPS, THEN I TRY TO FIND YOU A MATCH ELSEWHERE. I HAVE FRIENDS THAT HAVE PUPS ALSO OCCASIONALLY, AND THEY HAVE THE SAME BREEDING STANDARDS.  IF YOU WOULD LIKE ADVICE ON WHAT TO LOOK FOR IN A GERMAN SHEPHERD, OR IF A GERMAN SHEPHERD IS  THE BREED YOU WANT TO KNOW ABOUT, BECAUSE YOU ARE CONSIDERING GETTING ONE. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CALL OR WRITE. A GERMAN SHEPHERD IS NOT A DOG FOR EVERYONE AS WELL AS THE STANDARD POODLE. I HAVE LEARNED A LOT, BUT AT THE SAME TIME I AM STILL LEARNING, AND WILL CONTINUE TO LEARN ALL I CAN ABOUT MY TWO BREEDS.
