A Bit About Me....

Hi my name is Maggie and I'm 38 years young, I am have been married to Ian my wonderfull Hubby for 18 years and together we created 4 kids.

I came to art quite late on in life although I had always drawn and painted as a child, and then about a year ago I came across a site whilst looking for some colouring pages for the kids I found this site http://www.fairiesworld.com and found some fantastic colouring pages for them.  But me still being a very big kid at heart decided to print some for myself and coloured them in.  I was quite proud of the finished result and was eagerly waiting for Ian to get home so I could show off my colouring skills.  Well lets just say he was not impressed and reminded me that he had o'level art and said that I couldn't draw anything like that, red rag to a bull I'm afraid.  So thats how I got  into art.

I moved to Austrailia on the 27th October 2006 and I now live in Adeliade in the Southern Suburbs.  We have wonderfull views and stunning places to see on our doorstep and this move in my life has inspired me even further to explore different aspects of my personality and try to capture this within my artwork
