Our Resident Conductor and Music Director Mr. Lum Yan Sing 蓝营轩

| Mr. Lum is a talented erhu and gaohu player. He has recently been appointed as an Assistant Director of the Centre For the Arts, NUS. He is one of the few Singapore musicians who possess international performing experience. He was also the first Singaporean musician to be invited by the China Central Chinese Orchestra to stage an erhu solo recital in the Beijing Concert Hall. Besides these, Mr. Lum is often invited as an adjudicator of the local Instrumental Competitions. |

Dizi Mr. Lim Sin Yeo 林信有
Mr. Lim is a versatile dizi player with the Singapore Chinese Orchestra who frequently performs as a soloist. Currently the Vice President of the Singapore Dizi Society, Mr Lim has represented Singapore to perform in several European and Asian countries. |

Cello / Bass Mr. Lee Howe Koon 李豪君
Mr Lee is multi-talented. He is adept in not only the cello and double bass, but also the gaohu and erhu. He is presently the Principal Cellist of the Singapore Philharmonic Orchestra and an instructor in many schools. |

Huqin Mr Lum Yan Sing 蓝营轩
Mr Lum, our conductor, is also our gaohu, erhu and zhonghu instructor. |

Guzheng Ms Ma Xiao Lan 马晓兰
Born in a family of musicians, Ms Ma started learning guzheng at a very young age. She is a konghou and guzheng player in the Singapore Chinese Orchestra. |

Liuqin Ms Xu Yi Ping 徐宜平
Ms Xu is currently a liuqin instructor for several local schools. |

Pipa Ms Liu Yan 刘燕
Ms Liu started learning pipa in her youth. She is a very dedicated and patient instructor who is well-liked by her students. |
