Nuclear Postmen Hockey

1991-1993 In-Line Champion Hockey Team - Toledo, Ohio

Welcome to Nuclear Postmen Hockey!

This website is dedicated to the 1991-1993 In-Line Hockey team from Toledo, Ohio.

The team was inspired by the return of minor league hockey to the city of Toledo, Ohio by the Toledo Storm, an East Coast Hockey League (ECHL) team. The team name "Nuclear Postmen" was inspired by the popular Amiga game, Nuclear War, in which the NP-1 Nuclear Postman bomber was a piece of that game.

The team was originally called the Harvard Thunder, as the team practiced and scrimmaged on the playground of Harvard Elementary School in Toledo, Ohio, and in tribute of the Storm, but the name was changed to suit the players and the team colors.

The Nuclear Postmen Jersey

This Nuclear Postmen jersey combines a black, red and gold jersey (similar to the Calgary Flames' home jersey) with a nuclear explosion logo on the chest, and a radiation logo on the shoulders.
