Special BLOOD interview for NiTroGlyCeRin

First, I would like to know what do you think about the first Thailand fansite of BLOOD?
Kiwamu : I am very interesting in that words and fonts. Because Thailand font is for the first time. The Thai's fonts shape was very mysteries for me.

BLOOD is not very well-know in Thailand yet. Since I made BLOOD thai fansite,many people want to listen to your songs. I'd like to know if you plan to have BLOOD promotion in Thailand or another Asian countries??
Kiwamu : I am thinking about The Asian countries promotions. I hope your site will be the chance to promote.

Many thai fans wonder if you will hold a live in Thailand or other countries of Asia one day?
Kiwamu : The Asian countries are very near Japan. So I am interesting in the live shows there.

How did you get into VisualRock?
Kiwamu : The make up is one of expression. When I write the songs, I need the make up and costumes for the songs.

How did you meet each other?
Kiwamu : I met Kaede by the friends introduction. And in 2004, the club house manager introduced Fuki to us. There were some chances.

Is there a certain theme or philosophy behind the music and imagery of BLOOD?
Kiwamu : Now, we have the main theme " VENGENCE for BLOOD"

Why do BLOOD decide to carry out all activities by yourselves and not belong to no company? I mean not many bands do this kind of thing before!
Kiwamu : I do the almost works for the band. But we are the independent band, so it is normal way for the band. We don't belonging to any company, so it makes us enable the free activities. Recently, there are many bands has the thinking of getting money only. But our purpose is not getting money.

What is your inspiration being an artist? And lyrics,how are they created?
Kiwamu : I am inspired by many movies, many novels and many musics

Could you tell us about your new Album [Vebgeance for BLOOD]?
Kiwamu : We have plan to make 3 mini albums. We released 1st mini album of that theme. Now, we continue to write the songs and story.

What are your thoughts about the whole MP3 movement on the internet?Do you think it has helped BLOOD or hurt your record sales?
Kiwamu : I hate the illegal video and mp3. If we find out the persons take the video, we will kill them.

Do you think it is a problem that foreign listeners rarely understand your lyrics?
Kiwamu : I dont mind the lyrics. And the good music will ft to everyone.

How did you define your music style? Is it Visualkei or Gothic?
Kiwamu : We dont mind the detail of style. If you want to think about our music, please do, It is not my business.
Fuki : Gothic hard rock, I think.

What concert or band experience has been the most memorable, strange or embarrassing? ***
Kiwamu :
1. the organizer Yumemi festival was a swindler in France
2. the organizer Nosphere forgeryed the contract in France
3. the organizer Ohayocon2004 forget to arrange the amps in USA
4. the organizer Fanime2004 cant handle the schedule in USA
Fuki : the last concert in Germany, cause I played without my costume.

What do you think of visualkei coming to Asia?
Kiwamu : a matter of course
Fuki : I hope to do. I don't know about other bands

Are your fashions and costumes your own creations or do you have outside designers?
Kiwamu : About the costumes, we had the designer for them. But another designs, I designed the cd jackets, website, pictures, promotion video and more
Fuki : We have outside designer

Since Asian fans like to cosplay, what do you think about it? And how do you feel when you see cosplayers dressing like you?
Kiwamu : if they cosplay our costume, I like them. But if they cosplay another bands, I dont have interesting in them.
Fuki : I am eager to see cosplay of me. Because my costume is so cool.

Kiwamu : give me your blood

vol. 140 [The rewritten contract scandal]

Something happened at September France live that really surprised me. As I was talking with the one of French sponsors backstage, that single sponsor pulled up the written contract for the live that everyone had signed 2 weeks before while we were still in Japan, and right before the eyes of all three of us, he took a ballpoint pen out of his pocket and just rewrote one of three part (about 30%) of guarantee. The three of us and people who had come with us from Japan all protested in our anger, so that situation finally calmed down. But I was really shocked by the idiocy of that sponsor who just grabbed a pen and rewrote our already signed and settled contract, thinking it would be go over with everyone. ( I wonder if he tried to stash it in his own pocket after ward? ) This really did happen. And it really crushed my impression of France.

-Infact, Fuki had loosen a part of his costume at Poland Live.
