 As many of you know I covered a story earlier this week on NSider News on what some were calling a crude OCC comment off Sony’s part. To keep the article a bit un-biased I tried my best not to reflect my dislike towards Sony in general which is kind of hard to explain. The burn from sony came during a interview in which Sony described Nintendo’s goal with the Gamecube and the Wii.

When most heard the “they’re trying to do what they do best” it ended up in a small heated debate in the interviews comment section of whether or not Sony was trying to say Nintendo wasn’t making good games. In my opinion this comment while seemingly out of character is the first time I seen a complement come from the mouth of Sony. It actually means they recognize Nintendo as a true opponent this generation, this is something Mircosoft has yet to do (but in the end of the day I still like the company more than Sony just because the 360 is cheaper )

In the end of the day I am slightly please that Nintendo’s finally getting some recognition from Sony. This is probably the first time since the Game cube days they have been recognized as a competitor in this console war, and that my friends might seem funny but the sad fact is… it’s true.
