PAMS Jingles Help Reborn An FM Legend

Summary: Once again, PAMS jingles are on the air at the new WAKY FM!

After a half century of dominating the Kentucky airwaves, PAMS jingles are back on track, as Elizabethtown’s AC Station KOOL 103.5 FM format flips to Rock n Roll oldies station WAKY FM.

The come back of the original and celebrated WAKY Jingles from PAMS Productions was signaled after KOOL 103.5 FM’s (WASE FM) owners Bill Walters, Mike Baldwin and Rene Bell decided to purchase the WAKY entity from a Kentucky broadcasting company. Walters and his partners were the second group to have owned the renowned call letters after the original WAKY station gave up its name in the 80s.

Furthermore, Walters commissioned the use of the original WAKY jingles from PAMS. Other jingle cuts were completely resung. The original talents and jocks were also employed in providing voice imaging for the station. Johnny Randolph – the program director WAKY back on its glorious days, even had momentous opening of the new WAKY FM in Southern Indiana.

To get the authentic feel of the famous WAKY 790 station, program and promotions staff of the reborn FM station counted on John Quincy’s playlist logs of the radio legend from the site www.79waky.com.

The new WAKY FM playlist includes the biggest Rock N Roll tracks from the 50s and the 60s. Digg!
