WIX Not much is known about Wix, except that he plays keyboard, likes pasta, and has a penchant for ebonics. Actually, the only true statements in that sentence are "Not much is known about Wix" and "He plays keyboard". Who knows if Wix likes pasta, and Brian is the one with with the penchant for ebonics. But just for your amusement, your friendly webmistresses have compiled a short biography from what we do know. On March 27th, 1955, Paul "Wix" Wickens was born in Brentwood, Essex. His first public performance was in a piano competition with his sister, brother, and father, and 12 year old Wix had no idea what opportunities the future held in store for him. He attended university at St. Paul's College in Gloucester, with original intentions of becoming a teacher. Fortunately, he turned his entire career path towards music, and, before joining Paul to record his Russian album (Choba B CCCP) in July of 1987, founded the band "The Young Ones" and played on four albums with Kevin Coyne. Wix has also toured with U2, Julian Cope, and the Waterboys.
