RUSTY

Rusty AndersonBorn January 20th, 1959, Rusty Anderson has been playing music seriously since the begining of time. Well, perhaps not that long- he got started professionally at age 13 when he formed a band called Eulogy in the mid-'70s.  While Eulogy never went on to release a record before they broke up, Rusty continued honing his guitar skills and playing in bands including his own The Living Daylights, and Animal Logic, a group that included drummer Stuart Copeland of The Police..

Rusty continued as a session musician before joining the group Ednaswap in the mid-ninties. The band scored a huge hit when Natalie Imbruglia recorded a cover of their song "Torn", however Ednaswap never really got the credit they deserved. After Ednaswap, Rusty was back in the studio, recording the guitar solo on Ricky Martin's worldwide hit "Livin' La Vida Loca".  His next studio accomplishment came in 2001 when Paul Mccartney asked him to play on his album "Driving Rain".  Rusty found himself on the road with Sir Paul after on a tour corresponding with the release of the album. He is currently touring with Paul Mccartney and "My Band" and can also be heard on 2005 "Chaos and Creation in the Backyard" track "Follow Me".

Rusty AndersonIn addition to this amazing list of studio and touring accomplishments, Rusty released his own solo debut in 2003 entitled "Undressing Underwater".  The album features Paul Mccartney and Stuart Copeland.  You can purchase Undressing Underwater on Amazon.com, CDbaby.com, and iTunes.
