BRIAN

WHOORAY!To those who are reading this right now, you know Brian Ray as the bassist/guitarist/tambourine player in Paul McCartney's "My Band". What you might not know that he served as musical director and guitarist for blues legend Etta James, writer, producer, director and guitarist for Rita Coolidge, and a touring guitarist for French singers Mylene Farmer and Johnny Hallyday. In addition, he's shared the stage with such famed musicans as Joe Cocker, Van Morrison, Carlos Santana, and Keith Richards! His exceptional talent as a songwriter became known when a track he co-wrote for Smokey Robinson with Steve LeGassick called "One Heartbeat" became a mega hit.

WHOORAY! On top of all of these accomplishments, Brian wrote and recorded a solo album entitled Mondo Magneto (details at bottom of page), featuring friends of his such as Etta James, Scott Shiner of Weezer fame, and the rest of "My Band". Mondo Magneto was released through Brian's own label, Whooray Records, in Fall of 2005.
