How will God Judge His People?

By Jim Meletiou

Check this out:

Two men were passionate soul-winners. They spent their nights weeping for souls and their days pleading with men for their souls. However, one of these men believed that we are suppose to worship God on the Sabbath, the seventh day of the week, while the other one believed that we are suppose to worship on Sunday, the first day of the week, or everyday. On the day of judgment, will God judge them for their doctrine, or will he judge them for obeying his commandment to "make disciples of all nations"?

Two similar men were also passionate soul-winners, like the two above. However, one believed in the doctrine of the rapture of the church before the day of the Great Tribulation; whereas, the other believed that the true church would go victoriously through the time of Great Tribulation. On the day of judgment, will God judge them for their doctrine, or will he judge them for obeying his commandment to "make disciples of all nations"?

Similarly two other men were also passionate soul-winners like the ones above. However, one of these men believed that the heavenly father wanted him to do all of his soul-winning within the framework of his denominational system; whereas the other believed that he should remain free from the denominational system and point men to Jesus only, not to a church or a denomination. On the day of judgment, will God judge them for their doctrine, or will he judge them for obeying his commandment to "make disciples of all nations"?

Two more men were passionate soul-winners. One of these baptized his converts in the name of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. The other baptized his converts in the name of Jesus only. On the day of judgment, will God judge them for their doctrine, or will he judge them for obeying his commandment to "make disciples of all nations"?

When people stand before God on the day of judgment, will he judge them for the correctness of their doctrine, or will he judge them for their obedience to "make disciples of all nations"? Do you want more? Check out these two doctrines:

Some churches/denominations put a lot of emphasis on water baptism, even proclaiming that salvation comes through water baptism. Doesnít the above teaching apply to them also?

Some churches/denominations put a lot of emphasis on the Lordís Supper [communion, eucharist], even teaching that salvation comes through frequently taking of the Lordís Supper. Doesnít the above teaching apply to them also?
