Tejano Genealogy Society of Austin, Inc.
P.O. Box 43012
Austin, TX 78704
Dear Readers,
This year marks the 28th year since a core group of genealogists organized the first statewide Hispanic genealogy conference in Austin. There were only about 25 registered guests at that conference, but we knew in our hearts that it would continue to grow. In 2007, we incorporated the Tejano Genealogy Society of Austin with two principal objectives:
(a) to plan and realize the 28th Annual Texas Conference on Hispanic Genealogy and History, and
(b) to continue to promote genealogical research on the origins of the Mexican American and Hispanic population of the Texas southwest.
Our fondest hope is that we have helped you to enhance your knowledge and to preserve your family genealogy. Our members have dedicated themselves and their professional talents to making this your most memorable state genealogy conference.
