Special Events

In addition to our engaging curriculum our programs provide for typical days, North Salem Preschool also offers a variety of special events to students throughout the year.

Holiday Parties

We celebrate Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day and Easter. A sign-up sheet is posted of food needed for the party. Parents and siblings are encouraged to join us for the festivities.

Birthdays

You may send in cookies or cupcakes to celebrate your child's birthday (or half birthday for our students with summer birthdays).

Field Trips

Field trips bring our classroom themes to life for children. Parent chaperones are welcome. A small fee is sometimes needed to cover admission. A permission slip is posted.

Picture Day

Picture day occurs mid-year. Class and individual photos are taken.

Trike-A-Thon

We help other children by bringing our bikes to school for an hour of riding. We raise money for St. Jude's Children's Center.

Graduation

Each June the children prepare songs and make props centered around a specific theme. Family members are encouraged to attend the performance. An Ice cream social follows the diploma ceremony.
