one more to go...
SO we played a
show on thursday that went relatively well, im sorry to all you folks
about not being able to pick three finger bc hoffmann spinkicked my
good banjo and snapped the bridge. Well, that banjo is fixed, but
hannah (other banjo) is now missing a bridge. Mike says hes going to
buy me a new bridge so I hope he does. Anyways thanks to all who came
out to the AR and the the RSU for having us play...
ALSO we did an
impromptu show in the basement of Metal Mansion with
Wasteland/Deathamphetamine. YOWZAH, our set was really fin and awesome
and people were digging it which always makes you have a better time,
obviously. But we were overshadowed by our good friends
deathamphetamine and good friends wasteland who put on TWO of the best
shows Ive seen in a while. WOW, that was a good night.
thanks again to anyone that came out, and had a good time, and if you
had a bad time, come see us at the Iron Horse and heckle us!!!
March 27, 2005.
Just two more shows left it looks like....
I would just like
to say that this band, personally has been one of the best things to
ever happen to me and seeing it as what it has become/became made me so
happy. We evolved/gained a ton of respect really fast and quickly, and
I think it was too quick for some members of our band. The thing is we
are bad with communication, really bad, I still dont know if these two
shows are our last or if we have more or what not. I would like to say
personally that the accpetance/support we have received from everyone,
who took a chance on us was brilliant, and incredible. We have played
with bands/people I never, ever thought possible. When I go watch music
now all I think about is figuring it out in my head and if I could hack
it up there with them. I love playing music, and most of all I love
playing music with the kids in my band who are consequently my best
friends, and more or less what I got goin for me right now. So thank
you everyone who GAVE US A RIDE, BOUGHT A DISC, CAME TO SEE US PLAY,
WATCHED US PRACTICE, CAME UP WITH A TUNE FOR US TO PLAY, TAUGHT US
SONGS, BOUGHT A DRINK/FOOD and TIPPED WELL (making clubs want us back),
ANYONE THAT TOOK A CHANCE ON SOME CRAZY SMALL TOWN PUNKS!! I have had
about the best two months of my life and it freakin kills me to see it
coming to an end. These next two shows will be everything I got left in
me....
thanks for the memories
TONY
