They are a relatively new breed of dog that many people have never heard of before
The Northern Inuit Dog has been bred to have wolfish qualitys and be a loving family companion
There are alot of people who think they are dangerous Wolf-Hybrids or just a X breed mongrels but they are neither
They are a gorgeous dogs and big softys , I would not risk my 2 children with a dangerous dog in the home !
Just because they are a new breed it does not make them any less of a dog ,all breeds had to start somewhere
The breed was created using 4 imported Inuit type dogs from America and 1 from Alaska these were then bred with Siberian Huskys , Alaskan Malamutes and German Shepherd Dogs , to make these wonderful dogs we have today

Warning : There are con people out there who will cross Huskies and German Shepherd Dogs and various other crosses and try to sell them as Northern Inuit Dogs ,these crosses may be lovely dogs but there is no guarantee what their temprament will be like and can often not be let off lead etc.,When buying a Northern Inuit make sure it is registered with the Northern Inuit Society
