North Hammington Model Railway

A Modern Image Layout With a Hint Of Steam

The Layout

START OF LAYOUT

The layout started life as a 6x4 board as i was gonna use the hornby track mat that came with the train sets but i didn't like the size so i made it into 8x4 i still wasn't happy with it so to get a good layout i made it into 10x8 and then North Hammington was born, but then i had to move rooms and the layout was dismantled and moved into the other room but the room wasn't as wide as the other room so the layout had to be shorted by 7" but could be longer at 14ft so the layout measured 14ftx7ft 5".But due to my sister coming home the layout got dismantled again and stored in my bedroom and other places but on the 1st november the layout got moved into the loft and so another track plans has been done to fill the 21ft x 6ft 5" space.
