Background and Objective:
The public debate over the status of pluto refuses to dissipate despite the fact that the overwhelming scientific consensus is that pluto is a trivial member of a belt of material that represents the dregs of Solar System formation. Like global warming, cigarettes causing cancer, and intelligent design before, this longevity is caused by a very small group of fundamentalists and malcontents who are using the distortion of scientific facts to further their own personal aims. In this meeting we will take an unbiased look at pluto's place in the Solar System and show beyond any reasonable doubt that pluto should only be considered a member of the Kuiper belt.
