TRUST NOBODY: In the beginning, no mentors or tribe leaders want you to trust, respecto or love them. And, they don't want to trust, respect or love you either. They practice neutrality empty the left brain, recognizing your present in face, but look pass your meat-bone-blood-brain body or any material things you show or talking about.
LOVE THE WAY AND THE RESULTS: They just want to see when you start to duplicate the way of practice to trust, love and respect the results of the practice, then you trust, love and respect them automatically - because they are part of the way and part of the results. And, by then, they will trust, love and respect you as part of the way and part of the results.
YOU ARE TESTED: Your reactive mind lose its stillness in face of gaining or losing material thing. The leader facing you're testing his/ her stillness of the reactive mind in face with your meat-bone-blood-brain material thing (called body). They live the soul observing the holistic mind. But, for sure you live the baby (reactive) mind trying to rule The Big (universal) Mind.
