The Nomadic

Welcome to The Nomadic an Internet Magazine for the Rivendell Nomads Speedway Team racing in the Superleague Speedway PBM www.superleague-speedway.com/

The Nomads were formed in 2004 and joined the inaugural Div 2 of Superleague Speedway.  In their first season, the Nomads achieved success by getting runners-up in Div 2 and hence promotion into Div 1.  Unfortunately with a league structure, the Nomads ended up in Division 1 (or dubbed SL II), where they relegated the following season.  In 2006/07 the Nomads finished 10th in Division Two and now start life for the 2007/08 season in Division Two after another league restructure.  The Rivendell Nomads are located in the North of Essex and race at Lakeside Park, which is a Medium sized track and has a capacity of 2,000 (more info see Stadia).
