Hola!  My name is Nollie Marie...well not really, it's actually (lots of background noises) but everyone in the world wide web knows me as Nollie Marie. (FYI: Nollie is pronounced as noll-EE )

My History

My history is abit interesting. I'm a 20 year old female.  My...hmm whats the word...nationality?  Well I'm half-Chilean (from my father's side) and half-German (from my mum's side).  Though I am Chilean-German...I speak neither languages...well I learned a few sayings in Spanish when I was little but that was about it.

I was born in Minot AFB, North Dakota.  Yes I am a Air Force Baby.  My father, though a Canadian citizen, was in the US Air Force.  When I was six week old, my parents moved me to England where I grew up for my early infant years...which by the way I think help influenced my ability to speak in a British accent esp. when I'm pissed off.  My brother, the brat I call him sometimes, was born nearly three years after me.  Six months after his birth, my father had the choice to leave the military on inactive reserve or move...he picked to leave (he didn't want us to be moving around, he wanted us to have a home).  So we left and settled in Fort Worth, Texas.  And, lol, clearly I grew up.

My Schooling

I graduated in May of 2007 from High School of Medical Professions, a magnet (or SIP as its now known as) at North Side High School in Fort Worth.  I was in the top 10%...actually top 8% of the entire school which was under 300 I believe.  The 2007 HSMP graudating class consist of only 26 students, the lowest our instructors had ever seen.

I'm currently attending a college in San Antonio, Texas.  The university is small but very, very beautiful.  The undergraduate consist of only 1600 students, which teacher to student ratio is 14-to-1.  I'm one of the first ever Honor Students here on campus, which is a great honor.  I am a majoring in Biology (Pre-Nursing) with a minor in History.  I'm hoping that after graduating from here, that I'll be able to get into nursing school and become a pediatric nurse.

Hobbies and favorites

I have a lot of hobbies and favorites.

The three main things I like to do is read, write, and sing.  I actually hated reading and writing when I was younger, and I still do somewhat.  But now I just can't seem to put down a book and stop getting story ideas.  I write alot of FanFiction stories and I'm trying to write a personal story but I tend to drift in my thoughts so I never finish the story.  And singing has also been a passion.  When I was little, I was in our Church Youth Choir.  When the choir was restarted a year ago, I joined again--the eldest singer there--and lead the choir.  I sing alto though I can sing higher or lower if needed.  I did sing tenor as a freshmen in high school.  I was in the Fort Worth Honors High School choir two years in high school was well, and happened to have been the Alto section leader.

I like alot of things:

  • Number: 2...its my fav and my lucky number 
  • Ice Cream: ANYTHING with chocolate pretty much...except Rocky Road and it has no nuts. 
  • Days of the Year: My Birthday, Christmas, and News Years
  • Subject in school: Science and History...oh and Chorus and photography but those are electives (English is my WORSE subject on the grounds of grammar)
  • Music: Don't really have a fav type of music.  I like to listen to everything and everything...to a point.  But the pop genre is maybe my favorite.
  • Movies: Um...not alot.  I do watch alot of Disney or cartoon movies.  I do love the Harry Potter movies and, of course, Twilight!  Not a big R-rated person...though I did see Pretty Woman, the Passion of Christ, and two other movies that I watched in AP World History in HS.
  • Candy: lots of chocolates (no nuts)...3 muskateers are right now my fav 
  • Color: Blue, Blue-greens.  Think like tropical water, those colors I like
  • Animal: Ducks (I have a moshi duck that I call Duckie!) and Dolphins
  • Vacation Spot: I love Hawaii, England (I've been to those places), Paris, Rome, and Japan (I have NOT been to the last 3 places)
  • Element: Water because it can be calm and then suddenly be rough.  That and I'm a water freak lol
  • IF I think of anything more to write, I'll add

One Wish: Outside of World peace and end hunger, to meet all my favorite authors...or to finish all my stories which ever can be granted first.
