• With ice skating, skaters will fall over from time to time. Whilst most falls are harmless and skaters are taught how to fall to minimize injury(in lessons), there is always the possibility, as with any sport, that a fall will result in a skaters injury. Skaters can wear a protective helmets by bringing their own cycling helmet. The ice is cold so students may want to bring gloves. Skaters are encouraged to wear Roller Blading elbow, knee pads and wrist guards.
