  1967 - The Northants Ladies Skittles League was established by Mrs Win Bobby. The first meeting was held at the Fox Inn Thrapston. Election of Officers Secretary : Mrs Baily. Chairlady : Rosie Carlisle. Treasurer : Mrs French. There were 7  leagues when the team started. meetings were held there untill 1971 when they moved to The Sea Horse , Deane. The First meeting at the Sea Horse was attended by representatives from Cardingan Arms, Riffle Band, Fox Inn Sea Horse and Red Lion Isham. At this meeting it was decided to revert to 9 players and Mrs Bobby was elected as Secretary.

1974 -75 AGM  Mrs Carlisle resigned as Chairlady and Mrs. Beach took over. Mrs French resigned as the Treasurer and Mrs. Clipston took over.

1973 - At this meeting it was decided to split the league in two as the amount of teams had trebled.

1979 - 80 Mrs. Gilbert took over  joint Secretary with Mrs. Bobby. Mrs. Gilbert was to run South and Mrs. Bobby to run North. Mrs. Bobby retired at the grand age of 80.

1987 - Mrs . S Ludwig took over as Treasurer .

1997 -  30 years of Ladies Skittles, celebrated at Wickstead Park. The Mayor & Mayoress of Ketterng attended.

2002 - Mrs. Chambers took over as Chairlady from  Mrs. Beach who had held the possition since 1975.

Meetings are now held every six weeks at  The Miniture Rifle in Kettering. There are seventeen teams with between 10 - 12 ladies in each team.
