NJIPDR assists first responders and construction workers
who continue to have unmet needs resulting from working
at the WTC site, and others with unmet needs resulting from
9/11-caused losses, who are residents of
or residents of
The statewide NJ 9/11 Unmet Needs Table was closed on 12/31/2008,
except for residents of Middlesex County or Franklin Towsnship.
With gratitude, we acknowledge the generosity and kindness of the
Community FoodBank of New Jersey, in
our organization with office and meeting space since we began to
meet after 9-11.
To provide Interfaith Healing, Advocacy,
Resources, Support, Recovery and
Assistance to those affected by Disaster.
1) Identify current and future populations affected by disaster, including:
· Families and Individuals experiencing loss and/or trauma
· Jobless and Underemployed
· Undocumented People
2) Network, develop and disseminate an Information and Referral Clearinghouse of existing services, training and ministries.
3) Advocate for populations made vulnerable by disaster.
4) Offer Training for Service Providers
5) Provide a Case Management system using direct services and referrals to other appropriate agencies, resources and ministries.
6) Address the needs of persons affected by racial, ethnic or religious bias as a result of disaster.
