Welcome to the S.C.A.M. website.
We are a local Ft. Wayne Indiana chapter of the National Association of Rocketry, and as Tripoli Ft. Wayne, the Tripoli Rocketry Association. (click on the links below for more information on these organizations).
Our Mission is promoting and advancing Hobby Rocketry through education, community outreach, and organized activities.
Whether you are interested in High and Mid-Power Rockets, Contest Flying, or just having fun launching Model Rockets, S.C.A.M. has something for you. If you are into "Big Rockets", we have several experienced high power fliers that can provide a valuable resource for your projects and high power certifications. Contest Fliers will enjoy our monthly local launch contests, as well as our annual NAR Regional Meet, the Mad Anthony Regionals. Our monthly fun fly's, held March through November, provide great family fun and an opportunity for kids to participate in this exciting hobby at their own pace. In addition, our organization offers rocketeers of all ages, novice to expert, the opportunity to interact with other fellow rocketeers, at functions, launches and online in our Forum.
Membership is open to anyone wishing to participate. Visitors also, are always welcome at our launches. Please check our Schedule Page and feel free to simply show up at a launch, or for additional information, click a name on our Contact Page.
