Because I completed a four-year apprenticeship in photojournalism in Zurich, Switzerland, I call this Swiss photojournalism. Of course, things were a little more relaxed in Switzerland because most of the photographers did not require model releases.
I also participated in two films there, the first a feature film and the second a documentary. In the former, I was an all-round helper, performing such things as script, clapper, assistant cameraman and assistant to the director. In the latter, I worked a camera assistant executing such things as focusing, filling film cassettes and setting up the cameras.
While the main thrust of my photography is in photojournalism, I also received training and have (stock) photographs in:
studio, portraits, still lifes, large format camera shots, location shots, assignment shots and digital photography.
