Nivarda stud

we are breeders and exhibitors of the miniature lop, 
we are home of many best of breeds and best lops with our mini lops, we also carry a few best in shows winners behind us, although we are breeders, we do only when we have too,we try to keep the breeding down to a minimal, and we aim to breed as close to the british rabbit council standard as possible, we do not breed cross breeds, only pure breeds, we do also take in some rescues to rehome to loveing permanent homes only.

We have been exhibiting since 2000, but have kept rabbits as pets for many years before we started showing,

we have had few different breeds over the years including netherland dwarfs, and standard rex,

we won our first best in show with a black rex,  then took another best in show on the same day at the netherland dwarf stock show, with a black otter netherland dwarf, a double best in show day, that we will never be forgot,

we have also had dwarf lops, winning best agouti dwarf lop at london champs in 2006, and best lop at essex champs in 2007, and havanas, where we took best of breed at london champs in 2006 and 2nd best fancy.  

Our main breed has always been mini lops , they are my favourite of all the breeds, we have had a few colours, but my favourite would have to be the sooty fawn and the seal points,  we have won many best of breeds, best lops and best in shows with our lops, and many best rex and best in shows with our rex over the years,

we no longer keep the netherland dwarfs or the dwarf lops, although we have done very well with them, we decided to cut down on our breeds to concerntrate on the others more,

we now have a stud of mini lops, a small stud of havanas,

we are looking forward to many more years with our happy family of rabbits.....
