Nittany Equestrian is a small program that specializes in developing a solid foundation of horsemanship, knowledge and compassion for the horse. We do lessons for all ages and abilities in most disciplines. Our program incorporates every aspect of horses and riding from basic care and groundwork up to jumping, western horsemanship and dressage. We focus on helping our riders to develop the basics of good seat, hand and leg position as well as learning how to use their independent aids. Our current school horses are talented with personable natures that excel at letting you know when you've got it right whether it's finding your distance before a fence, learning to post or mastering the art of steering!!
