Here is a little saying about attitude that one of my teachers gave me. If we all walked around and understood the lesson this little saying teaches the world just might be a little happier place.
Attitude
“The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than success, than what people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company, a church, or a home. The remarkable thing is I have a choice everyday regarding the attitude I will embrace for that day. I cannot change my past, I cannot change the fact that people will act a certain way. I cannot change the inevitable. The only thing I can do is play on the one string I have, and that is my attitude. I am convinced that life is ten percent what happens to me and ninety percent how I react to it. So at the beginning of each day I always remember that I am in charge of my attitude.”
