Brain Water

Here is a rather funny story I wrote for English class last year the assignment was to take events from my summer and two of my class mates summers and make a story out of it. So here is what I wrote.

 Politicians Gone Wild

On the afternoon of August 15, 2008 at a courthouse in Ohio, Barack Obama and John McCain held a debate. The Debate was about what each presidential candidate would do concerning the national debt. At the very beginning of the debate things began very civil, but towards the middle of the debate things had taken an uncivilized turn. Obama had began insulting McCain and belittling all of his ideas. The fact that Obama was doing this angered McCain and the spectators. It was at this point when McCain said to Obama that it was time to settle their differences like men, so McCain challenged Obama to a duel. When Obama heard McCain's challenge he told him that they would duel with pistols at dawn in Washington D.C.

The next day when dawn arrived both Obama and McCain met, and were standing twenty paces apart from each other in Washington. As they stood their the crowd of people that had came to see this event fell silent, and the referee stepped forward. On the referees word both Obama and McCain shot their pistols. Obama's shot missed McCain only by a few inches, where as McCain's shot hit Obama in the right knee.

Upon realizing what he had done McCain began to panic. Without even thinking he ran towards an unattended truck and drove away as fast as he could. When the truck finally ran out of gas McCain was at an american tailgating convention in Myrtle Beach.

Amazingly McCain was able to blend into the crowed unnoticed and even began to hold conversations with some of the people. One of the people he ran into was Travis Sutton which was a man from the Great Smokey Mountains and a glass blower at Dollywood.

McCain asked Travis if he could get him a job at Dollywood and Travis told him that he could, so McCain left the convention and went to Dollywood to start his new job.

McCain began working at Dollywood as a janitor. It wasn't the nicest job, but at least it provided him enough money to get an apartment near by. He worked at Dollywood for many months before anyone found out where he had disappeared to. One day on his break McCain's supervisor called him into his office and told he that he sadly had to fire him. The reason was because government officials had been snooping around the place asking about him, and Dollywood couldn't afford to be in trouble with the government.

After loosing his job at Dollywood McCain decided to go to splash country to relax. Sadly as he was relaxing a tree fell down landing onto both of his legs breaking them both. Since McCain was now hurt he was forced to return back to his family and to Washington. When he arrived back in Washington he was informed that Obama decided not to hold him responsible for the incident that had occurred months earlier. Realizing this McCain was very relieved and planned to make a public apology to Obama so that the public would know that they were now on friendly terms.
