The Greek poet and Nobel Laureate Odysseas Elytis was quoted as saying that a writer “needs an audience of three. Since any writer worth his salt has two intelligent friends, he spends his whole life searching for the third reader.” That is the role ThirdReader.com hopes to fill. Whenever possible, we provide honest critiques of the works of those who submit to us. We are an online literary journal that presents fiction and poetry of the highest caliber. In addition to short stories, flash fiction and poems, we will also have helpful articles about writing and publishing.
