Introduction

The different countries of the Naruto world are listed below. From now on you can choose which village you are from and change if you become a Nukennin. Remember that if you choose to be a distinct clan of the Leaf (ie. Inuzuka, Hyuuga, Aburame etc...) you MUST be a Fire country ninja unless you become a Nukennin and join another village. Same goes for clans from other countries. You cannot be a ninja starting out from a non-ninja country (listed as "Other Countries"). If you wish to cross clans and countries (for example, being a Hyuuga in Earth) you must be a Nukennin.

Some countries can only be reached by certain means and only from certain other countries. The time it takes by certain means are listed under Transportation. Also on these pages will be history of the events that have taken place on Ninja Roots as well as the series, just click on the name of the country you want information on. Some things may be different from the series depending on the events taken by members of the site.

There are also population limits to the countries depending on their size. If that country's population is at it's limit you cannot be a part of it. This will also be listed on the individual page of each country.

When traveling to neighbouring countires over land, you must post at least once in each country during your travels. This includes the unnamed countries, you would just have to mark in your post that you are not in the country your thread is in but an unnamed country. It is optional to post every day if you are traveling over water. It takes one day to travel to a neighbouring country by foot. If traveling by summon it takes one day less than the total amount of time needed, however you still have to post in every country you pass through. The amount of days needed to travel by boat is listed below. Boating costs 100 yen per day, although if you are on a mission and need to use a boat you will not have to pay.

Note: "Nagi" refers to Nagi Island of the Tea Country. These are all of the possible routes, there are no official boat transportation between enemy countries; however you may still use these routes to get there via your own boat or summon.

Creating Your Own Village

At a certain point, a ninja or group of ninjas can start making their own village. However, this is not easy and requires a lot of time and money.

Requirements

• Must be sennin level
• Must be a Super Genius
• Only one village per country
• Can only be made in other/unnamed countries
• Must be a free nukennin (aka, have no ties to a village)
• Must build a mansion on private land
• Must build one large house (as the academy)
• Must build three medium houses, and six small houses
• Must do a storyline about how the village was formed. There is not necessarily an amount of posts needed for this, if you’re both a sennin and super genius we trust that you know what would serve as a good way of creating a village. Not to mention “creating a village” can take place over a long time in different areas through going to all sorts of places to find your villagers.

Bonuses

• Control over 3 of your personal ANBU NPCs
• Control over 2 Chuunin NPCs used for training academy students
• Decide what special techniques are taught in the academy (you’re still only allowed to teach level 2 jutsu)
• Decide what missions you want to give (they must be approved by a mod)
• Decide how many villagers you allow in and/or of what clans.

Most of all the biggest benefit of this is, of course, you become the leader of a country.
