1. KO TE NAGE (Goshin Jutsu: Shodan Series)
In this the first set of photographs above the technique is a wrist throw (Kote Nage). There are a variety of Wrist throws (Kote Nage) in Nihon Go Shin Kage Ryu, the most basic version is done from a standing attack, and involves a Tenkan. This technique is part of the Shodan Ge series of techniques. For a video of this technique see here: Ude Higishi & Kote Nage.wmv

2. TE GAESHI (KOTE GAESHI):
The technique shown in the photographs above demonstrates an outer wrist turn, In this praticulatr version Uke grabs Tori's lapel (Mune Osae Dori) and attempts to perform a strike to the face (Choku Zuki Jodan), Tori immobilises Uke with Shuto Uchi Uke (Knife hand inside block) causing a temporary paralysis of the arm (Kyusho), Then the grabbing wrist is turned by the other hand as Tori performs a Tenkan, bringing Uke to the floor. Tori's body is moving through out the whole of the technique.

3. OGAMI TE SHIKORU NAGE (Goshin Jutsu: Shodan Series & Ogami Te):
This is a head/neck throw, Shikuro refers to the part of the armour worn around the shoulders. In this Goshin Jutsu technique, the throw is performed as part of an escape to an under arm grab and is from what we call the Shodan series of techniques. The last photo in this series shows the hand position for Ogami Te (Prayer Hand).
