Night World

The Night World isn't a place. It's all around us. It's a secret society of vampires, werewolves, witches, and other creatures of darkness that live amongst us. They are beautiful. They are deadly and are irresistable to humans. Your high school teacher could be one, and so could your boyfriend...

The Night World laws say it's okay to hunt humans; it's okay to kill them. There are only two things you can't do with them:

   1) Never let them find out the Night World exists.

   2) Never fall in love with one of them.

These are stories about what happens when the rules get broken...

This website is named after the series of  books by the author L.J Smith, called 'Night World'.

Not only will this site cover the before mentioned series of books, but will give information and reviews on all of the novels by Lisa Jane Smith. Current information will be posted on the 'News' page as it is known; please check back there occassionally for the latest information.

Renewing of information is on-going for this site.

Webmistresses Marlyly and myself, Winters Kiss have created this site to show our appreciation of a classical teenage fiction author. We hope to encourage others to read these mystic stories of soulmates, magic, battles and other worlds; but most of all we just want to give you a little taste of the night.

I've finally finished the character info for Meredith,  Bonnie, Matt and Caroline on The Vampire Diaries: Extra page. If you have any good quotes on any of the characters let us know and we'll put them up. I've also added some info on the type of vampires in TVD, as well as some more info on L.J Smith on her books page. Think that's all - just a small update for today.

Hey there! 

So as you'll probably be able to tell I've been experiementing with a few new things on here, some may stay, others will probably go, feedback would be appreciated on what's hot and what's not!  I've added many new polls all over the site, find them and vote vote vote as many times as you want. I've also created a forum, but it's quite lonely there right now as I'm the only member!  So register and post and lets see if we can get this forum thing going! I've added some news to the news page (want to know what? Check it out!) and I'm reguarly updating the two Vampire Diaries pages as I've recently finished reading them so I'll do those pages while they're still fresh in my mind. I've also FINALLY after 3 years got my Dark Visions books off my friend, so once all the Vampire Diaries business is complete I'll be adding much more detail on those pages.

Hello Everyone!!!

I think it's about time for a much needed update!

First off a huge apology that is has been so long since I last updated anything on this site (I want to say an official thanks to Winters kiss for updating things while I've been away, and for answering people's emails), I've been busy doing GCSEs and A-Levels and pretty much revising for 4 years straight, but I've got some spare time again now so I'll try and be good 

Since last working on here I've got around to reading 'The Vampire Diaries' and the 'Dark Visions' trilogy - the latter is still one of my favourite reads ever, and what I consider to be Smith's best work. I'll add pages for both soon.

Now, getting around to what I'm sure you are all very excited about - L J Smith is writing again!!! Winters Kiss has been keeping the News page nice and updated, and I'll be adding to it too so keep on re-visiting!

Also to note that L.J Smith now would like to be known as Ljane Smith. At the moment though I'm gonna keep the site names as L.J Smith for people who may be searching for some info. I will however change it at a later date!
