His first TV appearance was in a stock cube commercial at the age of eight. Nigel's television appearances include Red Cap and Doctors. He has experience of Shakespearian theatre as well as appearing in a several musicals including My One And Only and Mamma Mia! Other theatre work includes Damn Yankees, Privates on Parade, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Much Ado About Nothing and Three Sisters.

Nigel is a skilled dancer and juggler. He loves working out in the gym and is passionate about film. He's also a keen backgammon player. Nigel's a big fan of Crystal Palace. His favourite actor is John Cusack. Jessie Wallace (Kat) was the Make-Up Artist when Nigel was in Mamma Mia. As a child, Nigel attended the same dance school as Lucy Speed (Natalie).
