Agility

I stumbled across agility around 2004 and soon started training at Agility Dog Club of NSW, then Northern Suburbs Dog Training Club and Canine Fun Sports. There was a lot of work done in the backyard too! In 2006 we finally started trialling - beginning with ADAC and ADAA - and later ANKC, the first ANKC trial being Hawkesbury Dog Agility Club in August 2006.

I have had the good fortune so far, to run all my dogs with some success. In 2010, Alfa gained all her Master ANKC titles, the first 200 height dog in Australia to achieve this. She also got her AAC title in ADAA. Lea also achieved both her Agility and Jumping Master titles. Even little Indi got all her Novice titles.

Agility is incredibly addictive. I still train with Northern Suburbs, ADC and Canine Fun Sports. I have recently acquired Fire, a Border Collie and will be interested to see the difference in training and handling.
