Northamptonshire Streetlighting

Station Road - Rushden

Circa 1970's. Mounted on concrete STANTON and STAVELEY concrete column a GEC z8526 mercury lantern.

Now in 2007, the concrete STANTON column and GEC lantern replaced by a Philips SGS 203 mounted on 'octagonal' column and bracket. The lamp in the background belongs to the Rushden Railway Station Preservation Society and I have been reliably informed that this lamp was manufactured by SUGG.

Rushden Hall

Post-top GEC outside Rushden Hall. It does not quite go with the building, does it?

Wellingborough Road

PHILIPS MA50 on sleeved brackets, mounted on concrete ELECO columns.
