ABOUT THE TRILOGY
These three stories were inspired by the movie "The Mothman Prophecies," a film by Mark Pellington and novel by John Keel. It was in the summer of 2002 when my friend Lloyd Larose and I began to write the first story, "The Nick and Josh Prophecies." It was not only inspired by The Mothman Prophecies, but also by true events of our own. We got the idea of the story from my brother Nick and a little kid that lived across the street named Josh. Josh was a little pest and he always annoyed us. Nick really hated him, he was like Mr. Wilson and Josh was like Dennis the Menace per say. Lloyd and I then began to make fun of Nick about it, always saying that him and Josh were close like best buds. It was durring that time we had first seen The Mothman Prophecies. After, we somehow came up with the idea of putting two and two together, Nick and Josh, and The Mothman Prophecies, to create a joke that we could crack on Nick about. Its the idea of people encountering a horrific Nick and Josh instead of a Mothman creature. Yes its weird, but Lloyd and I thought it was funny, Nick didn't understandably. It wasn't till perhaps a few weeks later when we decided that it would be fun to actually write this story. So we did. We basically just took the plot from The Mothman Prophecies and created our own characters, ideas and events. The story was finished within a few weeks. Lloyd and I thought it was great. Nick hated it.
It wasn't until a whole year later when we decided to write the sequel, hence the second story taking place a year later from the first. We decided we would do it, and began to think up our own plot to continue from the original. We entitled it "The Nick and Josh Prophecies: The Return." While Lloyd and I were thinking up ideas for this story, we thought it might be a good idea to make it a trilogy. In light of that, we decided we would create a 3rd story after The Return. The Return was finished about 3 or 4 weeks later. Lloyd and I were happy with it. Even after a year, Nick still was mad at us with these stories. We decided not to rush into the 3rd one, and took time to develope ideas.
It was about 5 or 6 months later until we had all our ideas pieced together to create a worthy plot, and then began to write the story. We entitled it "The Nick and Josh Prophecies: The Curse." Within a little more than a month the story was finished, and the trilogy was complete. Lloyd and I loved it. Fortunately Nick began to cool down and understand that the stories were more just to amuse us rather than poke fun at him. The three stories were written as professional as we could, which aided some of the hilarity, but don't expect Stephen King type material. A lot of people will find these stories to be very odd and strange, but thats okay. They are basically just an inside joke between Lloyd and I. They were written for us to have something to look back at and laugh about. To this day Lloyd and I continue to discuss it and use it as reference to a lot of current events. There was never any intention on making fun of The Mothman Prophecies even though it may seem that way. I am a big fan of the movie. I made this website because I just wanted to be creative and see how well I could design a website. I thought picking our 3 stories as the website subject was a good idea because it makes the site a lot different from most, and I thought it would be cool for others to read the stories even though they were never intended to be read by a lot of people. What the hell, right?. Anyways, if you've seen The Mothman Prophecies then you will understand these stories better. I hope I explained it enough for you to enjoy them as Lloyd and I do. As new residents of Macomb Township, Michigan, Joe Sutton and Lloyd Larose, two private investigators, have been hired to do investigative work for police. Later they come to realize that the townspeople have been beset by strange and unusual encounters with two mysterious figures who have been sighted all over the township. Taking matters in their own hands, Joe and Lloyd end up fully investigating the situation. Later they are to learn that these two mysterious figures have a strange bond that seems to be horrifying the township, including themselves. Can Joe and Lloyd make sense of the events, and end the horror of the matter once and for all?

Its one year later since the horrific events of Nick and Josh took place. But this time a prophecy of their return was predicted and came true. This time the two are lurking in the well constructed and enormous sewers underneath the township. Sightings began and people have now become missing. This allows for private investigators Joe and Lloyd to come back to Macomb Township and investigate once more to confirm Nick and Josh's return. With the help of the PHM police and a few good samaritans, Joe and Lloyd begin the hunt for the two and try to put a seemingly more powerful Nick and Josh away for good, but its not going to be as easy as before.

THE CURSE
Efforts continue as Joe and Lloyd face off with the all powerful Nick and Josh, who are now lose upon the above grounds of Macomb Township. This time Joe and Lloyd are greeted by an elderly man who is aware of the Nick and Josh prophecies, and teaches them that the curse of Nick and Josh will soon consume the people of Macomb Township. This leads Joe and Lloyd to an abandoned mansion where Nick and Josh are supposedly housed. The final confrontation will take place there, and Joe and Lloyd are to learn that defeating Nick and Josh will be a lot more complicated than they could ever imagine. The prophecies don't determine the outcome. When its all over, Macomb Township may either be in peace, or in the hands of Nick and Josh.
BONUS STORIES
NIGHT OF THE SEEKER and AVT are two stories I wrote long after the Prophecies Trilogy. NIGHT OF THE SEEKER is actually story 1 of 4 in a series I call "THE REVELATIONS COLLECTION" AVT is a story I wrote just recently for my younger brother. I enjoyed writing both and I hope you enjoy them as well.
